Street installations use 3D objects/spaces to enhance/interact/interfere with the urban environment, this is what differentiates conventional street art and graffiti which is done on surfaces and walls. Similarly to graffiti, street installations are often non-permission based and once it has been installed it is left there by the artist. Street installations are sometimes made to be interacted with by the public, being moved and/or taken.
I really like the idea of interacting with the public, sort of giving the art installation a life. I will look more into street installations by looking at a variety of artists including Above, Brad Downey and Leon Reid IV.
